Gamification

Board games X Video games X Immersive experience

Through music and themed props, users are led to enter the mood and state set in the game, and other simulations are then added to increase the fun of the experience.

◆ Props designed to stimulate five senses
◆ Strengthen communication and experience sharing between people
◆ The rules are simple and develop through a single-line plot
◆ Indoor game

Travel Experience Sharing

Combining the story of the game and guiding the elderly to share their past life experiences with their caregivers through cards opens up new chat topics.

Fruit Scent Matching

The diffuser bottle contains six kinds of fruits with different scents. Please discuss them with your travel companions and match them.

Tactile Material Puzzle

There are seven kinds of material puzzles, drawn out in turn with the travel companions and work together to assemble the finished appearance of the object.

Prototype & Test

Tested with target users and revised

Electronic circuit design

Problems encountered during the game:

◇ Grandma cannot understand Mandarin well.

◇ The elderly found it hard to start telling a story.

◇ The elderly prefer to share stories more than listen to stories.

Modify direction:

◆ The audio uses more common words.

◆ Allow the caregiver to demonstrate first.

◆ The narrative is easy to understand and provides more    opportunities to share the story.

Brand Design

Reflection

We have made many attempts in this design, including:

◆Brand and packaging design
◆Cross-department cooperation
◆Game flow and interface design
◆Design verification

The process of designing games and brands requires thinking about the details of the operation of each touching point. By cooperating with other departments, I learned to explain my design philosophy and the goals I want to achieve.
